Butter Chicken

Butter Chicken is a popular dish from Northern India. It is made with marinated chicken that combines the tastes of tandoori and garam masala, lime juice and yogurt with the richness of a tomato puree and butter cream sauce that will leave even the most discerning of dinner guests wanting seconds.

  • 300 g chicken breast (approx 0.6 lb)
  • 1 jar KFI Butter Chicken Sauce
  • 1 tbsp 35% whipping cearm
  • ¼ cup sliced cashews
  1. Cut the chicken into 2" cubes.
  2. Now pan fry the chicken cubes in either butter or oil for 10 minutes or until fully cooked.
  3. Add the jar of KFI Butter Chicken Sauce to the frying pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the whipping cream and simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Garnish with thinly sliced cashews or light swirls of 35% whipping cream.
  6. Serve over a bed of basmati rice or with hot naan bread.
