KFI Cares

To show our support for our community, KFI is leading an initiative to donate 1,000 care meals to our elder and more vulnerable members (65+), who are at the highest risk and should remain in isolation. With panic buying at its peak, grocery shelves are empty and daily necessities are hard to come by.

We as food manufacturers have come together to help. We want to give back to our community during these trying times and with the support of our kind partners, we are able to offer a meal solution that can feed a whole family twice over. In addition to KFI Sauce, the care pack will include Rubicon Juice, Crispy Roti, Mehran Basmati Rice and Smart n’ Tasty Basmati Rice.

We wish you all the best and please be sure to follow all protocols to keep yourselves safe.

With Love,

KFI, Rubicon, Crispy, Mehran, Smart n’ Tasty

FAQ

  1. What areas are you delivering to?
At this time we will be delivering to the Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Milton, Etobicoke, Toronto, Scarborough, Markham, and Vaughn areas in Ontario only.
  2. Does the product require refrigeration?
This KFI Meal Care Package does not require refrigeration until it’s opened. Should be consumed before the best-before date on the package.
  3. Are these rolling applications and deliveries?
Yes. We will simultaneously be taking applications, shipping out product and making deliveries. Keep checking our website KFI CARES page for more updates.
  4. Is the delivery free?
Yes. There will be no cost to deliver the Free Meal Care Package to your door. We want to make this as easy for you as possible.
  5. How will I know I have been selected for a delivery?
Someone from the KFI team will call you directly to confirm your age, address and special delivery instructions.
  6. How long after an application is received will the delivery be made?
We will be working round the clock to ensure the delivery gets to you as soon as possible. You can expect to wait 2-3 business days after we contact.
  7. I have a special request for my delivery (ie: please leave the package behind the planter to the left of the door), where do I relay this type of information?
Please use the “Special Instructions” section of the form to include any special instructions we should be aware of for your delivery.
  8. What shipping carriers do you use?
We use trusted delivery companies or individuals who follow strict hygiene.
  9. Does the door need to be answered in order to receive the delivery?
We understand these are uncertain times and those who are elderly, sick or immunocompromised may not wish to open the door. This delivery will be “no signature required” so our carrier partner will leave your package at the door.
  10. Will you deliver to long-term homes and/or care facilities?
At this time, due to the regulations imposed by many long-term homes and care facilities we will not be accepting applications from those in homes.
  11. Will you deliver to the hospital?
No. We will not be taking any applications where a hospital is listed as the delivery address.
  12. I live in a condo/apartment building with no concierge, will you still make the delivery?
We will confirm this in our phone call. You can either leave the buzzer code left in the “Special Instructions” section of our form so our delivery company can leave the box in your lobby or at your door. Alternatively, you can ask a neighbour to accept the delivery on your behalf.
  13. How do you guarantee hygienic packaging and transportation of this delivery?
The safety and quality of our product and our customers’ well-being is our highest priority. We have very strict food safety checks in place to ensure you only receive the best product possible. There is currently no evidence of transmission of the Covid-19 through food. This has been stated by a number of authorities including the Public Health Canada.
